Long gone are the days of an abacus counting frame. This is modern Accounting, Finance & Economics at its best. If you're looking for something unique, like Forensic Accounting or just want to study a general degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, you'll find it all here. You'll also find you can combine your course with Legal Studies or accelerate your learning with a two-year degree.

You'll study within a vibrant and committed community with a wide range of flexible courses designed to prepare you for a successful career in accounting, economics, financial services and business management. Our academics are pretty experienced too, and are actively involved in research and consultancy projects. Most recently, they've carried out consultancy work on The Economic Impact of the M6 Toll Road, Corporate Governance in Bosnia- Herzegovina, Student Fees and Bursaries and The Case for a Change Excise Duty Levied on Beer.

There's also an optional placement year available. This is quite unusual for an Economics course, but we're confident it'll enhance your experience, employability and enjoyment. It's also a great way to set yourself up for work in the real world. And who knows, you might even get a job offer out of it!

We don't like to blow our own trumpet, but our Economics course recently scored full marks in a Quality Assurance Agency assessment. Plus, our Accounting and Finance courses offer exemptions from professional accounting body examinations including the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
