With one of the largest Computing, Engineering and Technology faculties in the UK, our 40 years experience and 150 dedicated staff, has enabled us to develop an exciting range of Technology BSc degrees that combine engineering expertise with Sport, Music, Product Design, Media and Robotics, where you'll learn to apply all the necessary skills, tools and techniques to develop new products and innovative processes.

For those interested in a more conventional route, our BEng/MEng Engineering courses offer an analytical and numerical approach with software simulation and modelling, as well as lab and workshop based activities, such as Mechanical, Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

Our Automotive and Automotive Systems Engineering courses are expanding with new resources such as a practical workshop with car hoist, instrumented vehicles equipped with data-logging hardware, Alias Auto Studio styling software and Cham Phoenics aerodynamics simulation software.

We know your choice of degree is the starting point of your career and will usually lead to professional registration. So, you'll be pleased to hear our BSc(Hons) degrees are accredited by the Institution of Engineering & Technology and our BEng(Hons) degrees provide an educational base for Chartered Engineer Registration.
