If rock 'n' roll or roller coasters aren't your thing, tuck in to some proper fish 'n' chips, a slap-up Chinese or a mouth-watering Italian at one of our many restaurants, cafés or takeaways. For afters, we'd recommend our local speciality - our oatcakes - they're the stuff of legend round these parts.

On top of that, there are cinemas, theatres and all the usual suspects when it comes to shopping on the high street too. If you're after something more original - try our local independent boutiques. And you won't have to look too hard to find a bit of culture either - with everything from Castles to pottery museums, there's no chance of you sat around twiddling your thumbs.
